Michael, I think it's a great idea and one I practice whenever I can. Mostly for friends doing Chicago theatre -- it's always helpful to get the word out -- but especially for smaller productions that need to get butts in the seats. I don't consider what I write to be an actual review, but when I can sincerely talk about what I especially liked about a show or whose performance moved me, I post. I'm a firm believer in promoting our community.
