On one occasion I was very anxious about filming a scene in a movie, so much so that I took a zanax to calm myself down. In the final cut you can hear my voice is a little horse, which often happens when I get anxious and my reflux flares up. It's not a great thing to have happen, but I did the work and I'm happy with the result.

I think we forget often as actors that just being a human in a room is "enough," and we get in our heads that we have to craft some unbelievably memorable character moment or choice every single time we audition. Sometimes just showing up/putting ourselves on tape just saying the lines (with or without an hour's prep) communicates what is needed to tell the story and the character and what casting needs to see. And as someone currently feeling a little "imposter syndrome," often I do an audition or self-tape then look back and go "well that wasn't as bad as my feelings imagined it would be."
