I completely understand and acknowledge your point Michael. I also want to add that I felt really good about an audition once and I booked the job. :)

And sometimes it is something but then nothing. I shot a short scene with a very famous A list actor - was so thrilled and excited, but then they cut the entire scene out. I was terribly disappointed, obviously, but this morning got another small user fee cheque so that's my consolation.

I remember singing for a new musical, and they went so far as to talking to me about what colors I like to wear on stage, y’know, for the costuming department.

Never heard from them again.

I've been there before. I was so excited! The Kiss Of Death email arrived. It's harsh business for sure. Thanks for this Michael. Best Carmen
