We all need to occasionally do a bit of positive inventory on occasion, I mean it is coming up on THANKSGIVING! It'd\s OK to be an Oboe...but not a noboe, knowing who you are, there's the rub! Happy Holidays and thanks so much for your weekly illuminations💪😀👍💯

Ah... I used to think I could only do comedy - musical theatre (250+ plays/musicals), stupid slapstick (doing a spit take and spraying myself, banging on a keyboard, etc.). I didn't think I could do drama, but now? I've found that my dramatic roles are far more real and grounded - who knew??

I am SO good at comedy, big broad musical theater and rock singing, tight harmony, puppetry and a wide range of speaking voices, tough love-filled and maternal characters, villains with an almost understandable point of view, ability to go into a rage at a moment's notice, and playing myself (basically, nerdy-passionate people).

Know what you can do well and lean into that. Doesn't mean to never try or train to stretch outside of your comfort zone.
