I like "do the work" BUT I never thought of it as "do the work and then you'll book the job." More that if I do the work, I can put out something I'm proud of.

Really appreciate you putting it out there. Ever so easy to beat ourselves up for not booking, and to lose sight of how to have fun with it all. Thank you for incuraging us to take that monkey off our backs.

How effing refreshing. Yes, yes, yes. The only "work" that matters is the questioning, the exploring, the thoroughness of looking at a scene from all angles. ("What else could it be?") And guess what ... that's what makes it FUN. Not the attempts at codification or systemizing the profession or expecting that if you kill yourself trying hard enough to be successful, then success will come. That's the path to misery ... and I'm SO glad I watched this today. Thanks, Michael.
