Hey Michael, I appreciate your point of view on this: I was wondering if the same potential problem can also emanate from the director too? A certain agenda has been determined and this is imposed by them - sometimes without adequate discussion with the cast - on the play. Perhaps the responsibility then rests with the directing/producing team?
